If you are using Aveta-Code on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Accounts

Each user should maintain only one account. We reserve the right to merge or suspend duplicate or suspicious accounts. Identity verification may be required for certain actions.

4. The service

Aveta-Code provides coding lessons, projects, automated feedback, adaptive learning paths, and progress tracking across supported languages such as JavaScript, Python, HTML, and CSS.

We may update, modify, or remove features at any time. While we aim to provide a reliable service, availability is not guaranteed and may be affected by maintenance, outages, or other operational factors.

5. Acceptable use

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules and may cooperate with authorities where required.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of any code, files, or content you create or upload.

By using the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the platform. This licence ends when your content is deleted, subject to standard backup retention.

Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without restriction.

7. AI features

Our platform includes automated systems that generate feedback, suggestions, and learning recommendations. These outputs may not always be accurate or suitable for your situation.

You should review and validate any generated content before relying on it.

All AI-generated output is provided for educational purposes only, and we do not guarantee specific results, outcomes, or levels of proficiency.

8. Intellectual property

All rights in the platform, including software, content, branding, and design, belong to Averont Limited or its licensors.

11. Updates to the service or Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. For significant changes, we will provide notice via email or through the platform at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

We may also modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

12. Account closure

You may cancel your subscription or close your account at any time via your account settings or by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if your account presents a security or legal risk.

We do not intentionally collect special-category data (such as health or biometric information). If such data is included in user-submitted content, it is processed only as necessary to provide the service and, where required, based on your explicit consent.

3. Legal bases for processing

We rely on the following legal bases under UK/EU GDPR:

4. How we use your data

We use your data to operate and maintain your account, process transactions, deliver and personalise learning content, generate automated feedback, maintain platform security, prevent misuse, analyse performance, respond to support requests, meet legal obligations, and — where permitted — send relevant updates or marketing communications.

6. Use of Google services

We use services including Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymisation and limited retention), Google Ads (including conversion tracking), Google Fonts, reCAPTCHA, and Google Tag Manager.

You can manage your preferences via Google Ads Settings or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. International data transfers

While we prioritise processing data within the UK and EEA, some service providers operate internationally. For more information about specific transfers, contact [email protected].

8. Data retention

We retain data only for as long as necessary:

Longer retention may apply where required by law or for dispute resolution.

9. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, secure password hashing, access controls with multi-factor authentication, and monitoring systems.

We maintain procedures for handling security incidents and will notify relevant authorities where required.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own accounts.

10. Your rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. We aim to respond within one month.

We use automated systems to analyse submitted code and provide feedback, recommendations, and lesson progression. These outputs are assistive and do not constitute decisions with legal or significant effects.

You may request human review if needed.

We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, preferences, analytics, and advertising. Full details are available in our Cookie Policy, where you can manage your preferences.

13. Children

14. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Where changes are significant, we will notify users via the platform or email where appropriate. Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of the updated policy, unless explicit consent is required.

Cookies Policy

Last updated: 13 April 2026

Cookies and similar technologies we use

To keep Aveta-Code running smoothly, secure, and personalised, we use a mix of cookies and similar technologies. These may be set directly by us or by trusted third-party providers we integrate with.

For clarity, we group them by purpose rather than listing them in rigid technical tables.

Essential cookies

These are required for the platform to function properly. Without them, core features like signing in, session continuity, security protection, and consent storage would not work correctly.

They are typically short-lived session identifiers or security-related tokens, including things that keep you logged in, protect forms from abuse, and remember your cookie preferences.

Some of these are set by our infrastructure and security providers to help prevent bots, malicious traffic, and unauthorised access attempts.

Analytics and performance cookies

These help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it over time.

They allow us to measure things like:

The information collected is aggregated and does not directly identify you as an individual.

We may use industry-standard analytics providers to support this functionality, including tools that help us measure usage trends and campaign performance.

Functional cookies

These cookies improve your experience by remembering choices you make and enabling optional features.

They may store preferences such as:

Without these cookies, the platform will still work, but certain convenience features may not persist between sessions.

Some of these features are powered by external tools we integrate for communication and support functionality.

Advertising and marketing cookies

These cookies are used to help us deliver and measure advertising across different platforms.

They may be used to:

Advertising cookies may be set by external platforms we advertise on or integrate with, including major ad networks and social platforms.

Third-party providers

In addition to our own systems, we work with external service providers that may place cookies when you use Aveta-Code. These include:

Each provider operates under its own privacy and cookie policies.

Managing cookies

When you first visit Aveta-Code, you can choose whether to accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones, or customise your preferences.

Only strictly necessary cookies are required for the service to function and cannot be disabled.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings link available in the site footer.

Your control options

You can also manage cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or restrict cookies entirely.

If you disable certain cookies, parts of the platform may not function as intended, especially features that rely on login sessions or saved preferences.

Advertising preferences

If you prefer not to receive personalised advertising, you can adjust your settings through the relevant advertising platforms we may use, or disable ad personalisation at the browser or account level where supported.

Updates to this section

We may update this Cookies Policy periodically to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or the services we use.

When updates are significant, we will provide appropriate notice and revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page.

Unsubscribe & Refund Policy

Last updated: 13 April 2026

This page explains how cancellations, billing, and refunds work for Aveta-Code. The short version is simple: you can stop your subscription at any time, the trial is low-cost so you can evaluate the service first, and billing continues only while your subscription is active.

Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

1. Subscription overview

The trial begins immediately upon activation and runs for 72 hours.

2. How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription in any of the following ways:

In your account (fastest option)

Log into your account, go to subscription settings, select cancel, and confirm your request. A confirmation email is usually sent shortly after.

By email

Send a message from your registered email address to [email protected] with the subject line "Subscription Cancellation Request". Including the last four digits of your payment card helps us locate your account faster.

Through support

You may also contact our support team during business hours for assistance with cancellation.

3. Cancelling during the trial period

If you cancel while your 3-day trial is active:

If the trial period expires before cancellation, the subscription will begin automatically.

4. Cancelling an active subscription

Once the trial has ended and a subscription is active:

5. Refund eligibility

As a general rule, subscription payments are non-refundable. However, we may review refund requests made within 14 days of a charge in specific circumstances, including:

Where required by law, cooling-off rights may apply to digital services, subject to prior use and consent to immediate performance.

6. How to request a refund

To submit a request, email [email protected] with:

We typically review requests within 5 to 7 business days. If approved, refunds are issued back to the original payment method within approximately 10 business days.

7. Renewal of subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days using the payment method on file. We send a reminder before renewal where required so you are aware of upcoming charges.

You can cancel at any point before the renewal date to avoid the next billing cycle.

8. Returning after cancellation

If you decide to return after cancelling:

9. Price adjustments

We may update subscription pricing from time to time. If this happens, we provide advance notice before changes take effect.

Any new pricing applies from the next billing cycle after the notice period ends. If you do not agree with a change, you may cancel before it is applied.

Continuing to use the service after a price change indicates acceptance of the new rate.

10. Payment disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback.

Most issues can be resolved quickly through support, and we encourage users to reach out first so we can assist directly.

11. Contact

For cancellations, billing questions, or refund requests:
